About Us

This website serves 3 groups:

OASPA

The Ohio Association of School Personnel Administrators

OMRC

The Ohio Minority Recruitment Consortium

(A subcommittee of OASPA)

OAEE

The Ohio Association for Employment in Education

Our organizations bring together career services professionals from institutions with teacher preparation programs and personnel administrators from school districts throughout the state who work together cooperatively to bring about increased quality and diversity within the school systems.

OAEE & OASPA are separate organizations that hold joint conferences and board meetings to promote networking between two groups—one that focuses on preparing teacher educators (OAEE) and other that hires them (OASPA)!

While you can register to become a member of either organization (by using this registration form), you can only sign up as a member of OAEE OR OASPA, not both.

OMRC is a subcommittee of OASPA that promotes diversity and works with professionals from OAEE & OASPA to promote diversity in the educator workplace.  OMRC holds conferences annually before the joint OAEE & OASPA conference. OMRC has restrictions on membership, but not on conference attendance.  This means you can not join OMRC unless you are a member of OASPA, but you can still attend an OMRC conference if you are a member of OAEE.

You can be a member of OMRC and attend the joint OASPA & OAEE conference.
